Shipping & Delivery Policy
Thank you for choosing Booze Run Canada. To ensure a seamless, premium delivery experience, please review our service areas, timing windows, and legal compliance guidelines below prior to completing your purchase.
1. Delivery Zones & Delivery Times
We proudly service Ontario, Canada. Delivery windows are divided by region:
- 1-Hour On-Demand Delivery: Toronto (West of Hwy 404), Etobicoke, North York, Mississauga
- Up-to 4 Hours Same-Day Delivery: Toronto (East of Hwy 404), Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Vaughan, Caledon, Brampton and Oakville.
- 3–5 Business Days Delivery: All other cities across Ontario. Please note there is a $60 minimum order (before shipping) for extended Ontario regions, and all online orders are final.
Outside our service area? If you reside outside these regions but wish to place an order, please contact us via our website’s live chat or email us at boozerun@elivery.ca before ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
2. Same-Day "Last Call" Cutoffs
Because we operate in accordance with LCBO and Beer Store hours, our final same-day delivery ordering deadlines are as follows:
- Monday – Saturday: 10:00 PM EST
- Sunday: 7:00 PM EST
Orders placed past last call will automatically be scheduled for priority delivery the following morning. (Subject to change without notice based on LCBO hours & Holidays)
Advance Scheduling: If you prefer your order delivered on a specific date and time, simply add your preferred window to the "Notes" section in your cart before checking out.
3. Legal Requirements & ID Verification
In compliance with Ontario law, alcohol cannot be left unattended. All deliveries must be handed directly to a recipient.
- Age Requirement: You must be 19 years of age or older to place an order.
- Smart Serve Certified Drivers: Our couriers are professionally trained. Delivery will be strictly denied in cases of suspected underage drinking or adult intoxication.
- Photo ID Check: Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all deliveries, regardless of age, to ensure secure chain of custody.
- Missed Deliveries: If you are not home, we can hand over the delivery to an alternate person at your residence, provided they are of legal age and present valid photo ID.
- Failed Delivery Fees: If a delivery is legally denied due to lack of valid ID, intoxication, or absence, your alcohol order will be fully refunded, but the $9.99 delivery fee will be retained to cover dispatch costs.
4. Rates & Payment Guidelines
- Flat Rate Shipping: All serviced cities enjoy a flat delivery fee of $9.99 + HST.
- All-Inclusive Pricing: For your convenience, all listed alcohol prices include retail taxes. All transactions are processed in CAD.
- Payment Methods: We accept traditional Visa and MasterCard credit cards online. We do not accept cash or payments upon delivery.
💡 Payment Note: We highly recommend using a traditional credit card rather than a Visa Debit. If you must use a Visa Debit card, please ensure you contact your financial institution beforehand to confirm your daily or online transaction limits so your payment processes successfully.
5. Delivery Delays & Exceptions
While we maintain an exceptional on-time record, minor delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control:
- Severe weather conditions or peak city traffic.
- Inventory Sourcing: If an item is unavailable at our immediate dispatch location, our shoppers will gladly visit an alternate store to fulfill your order at no extra cost to you. We appreciate your patience in these rare instances, and we will notify you immediately if an adjustment is required.
