What Time Can You Get Alcohol Delivered in Ontario?

Short version: 9am to 11pm on most days, earlier close on Sundays, adjusted hours on holidays. But you’re probably asking because it’s later than that, so here’s everything you need to know.

LCBO Hours in Ontario (2026)

The LCBO operates most Ontario stores on the following general schedule. Individual store hours vary, so check the LCBO store locator for your nearest location.

  • Monday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM (most locations)
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (most locations)
  • Statutory holidays: Reduced hours or closed depending on the holiday

The Beer Store and grocery stores that sell alcohol operate on their own schedules, which often differ from LCBO hours.

What Time Does Alcohol Delivery in Ontario Stop?

AGCO-licensed delivery services in Ontario are required to operate within legal alcohol retail hours. Booze Run Canada’s delivery hours are:

  • Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (last call 8:00 PM)
  • Friday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (last call 9:00 PM)
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (last call 7:00 PM)

“Last call” means the last time you can place an order for same-day delivery. If you miss last call, you can place an order for next-day delivery.

Can I Get Alcohol Delivered After 11pm in Ontario?

No. Any service claiming to deliver alcohol after 11pm in Ontario is operating outside its AGCO licence, which restricts delivery to legal retail hours. If you see a service advertising 24/7 or after-midnight delivery, it is operating in a legal grey area or outright illegally.

What About Ontario Holidays?

LCBO hours are reduced on statutory holidays. Common holiday patterns:

  • Good Friday: Many LCBO stores closed
  • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Easter Sunday: Limited hours
  • Canada Day, Victoria Day, Labour Day: Open, sometimes reduced hours

Booze Run Canada operates during LCBO hours on holidays — if the LCBO is closed, we’re likely closed too. Check booze-run.ca on the day for live availability.

Why Is There a “Last Call” Earlier Than Closing?

The gap between last call and closing time accounts for the time required to fulfill and deliver the order. Placing an order at 9:15 PM on a Thursday when last call was 8:00 PM doesn’t leave enough time for delivery before the legal window closes. The last call cutoff exists so that deliveries can be completed within operating hours.

The Missed-Last-Call Situation

If you miss last call, you have two options:

  1. LCBO or Beer Store: If you’re before 11pm on a weekday or Saturday, an LCBO store may still be open. Check the store locator.
  2. Order for tomorrow: Place your Booze Run order tonight and it’ll be queued for delivery the next morning when we open at 11am. Useful for planning ahead.

The cleanest solution is to order early. Order now →
